Day 1. Yerevan – Evening City tour
Arrival in Yerevan, at “Zvartnots” International airport. Meeting and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation and rest in the hotel.
Evening Yerevan City Tour with an English speaking guide. You will see the main tourism attractions of our amazing city: the statue of Mother Armenia which is located on a hill overlooking Yerevan, the Cascade, a nice square with modern sculptures by Bottero , you will walk along The Northern Avenue built with modern apartments and shops to the Main square –Republic Square full of bright lights. You will also see the Building of National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Then you can go to enjoy your evening in “Mezzo” Club where you will listen to jazz or other styles.
Return to the hotel.
Day 2. Garni
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast you will go to Garni village where you can see the only pagan temple Garni which was Armenian Kings’ summer residence. And now it is one of the main cultural sites in Armenia. When tourists travel to Armenia they want to see Garni without fail. You will do jeeping in the gorge of Garni and admire the stunningly beautiful nature of Armenia. The next point of our tour will be Hatis mountain. The elevation above sea level is 2528 metres.
On the way back in Garni village you can have lunch and a lavash baking master – class (Armenian national bread)
Return to Yerevan. Evening is free. You have a wide choice of clubs, pubs and cafes.
Day 3. Mount Aragats
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will see and maybe climb up Mount Aragats. Mount Aragats is a complex volcano in Armenia and is the highest peak in the Armenian Highlands. It was active during multiple phases in the Pleistocene. In the slopes of Mount Aragats there is a lake called Kari (Stone lake) mostly formed by ice and snow. It is located 3,190 m above the sea level and has a perimeter of 1,150 m.
Don’t miss to take unique photos of wonderful mountainous nature.
Return to Yerevan.
Day 4. Lake Sevan – Tsaghkadzor
Breakfast at the hotel. The next spot of our tour program is Lake Sevan, the blue pearl of Armenia. This huge mountain lake which takes up 5% of Armenia’s surface area is about 2,000 meters above sea level. On a clear and sunny day, the water is often a deep turquoise color. The peninsula is the most popular place around Lake Sevan. In Sevan you can have a boat tour and then taste delicious fresh fish from the lake. After fresh air and good impressions you will proceed to Tsaghkadzor, one of the most beloved attractions.
Tsaghkadzor is a spa town and a popular health resort in Armenia, located north of the capital Yerevan in the Kotayk region. Tsaghkadzor literally means valley of flowers in Armenian. Surrounded with alpine meadows, the town is situated on the southeastern slope of the Teghenis Mountains, at a height of 1841 meters above sea level. In Tsaghkadzor you will ride a ropeway. Overnight in Tsaghkadzor.
Day 5. Tsaghkadzor – Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Have a goodtime in Tsaghkadzor admiring beautiful nature.
In the afternoon you will return to Yerevan. Free evening. We advise you to relax in the “Play City” or “Yans” or “Malkhaz” clubs.
Day 6.
Breakfast in the hotel.
Before departure you can visit the national fruit and vegetable market in Yerevan where you will taste delicious dried fruits. Transfer to the “Zvartnots” international airport to your international flight.
