Day 1: Yerevan (City Tour)
Arrival in Yerevan. Transfer to the hotel, rest. Lunch at a restaurant in Yerevan.
City sightseeing tour: monument to the hero of the Armenian epic – David of Sasun, Cascade, Republic Square, Tsitsernakaberd – Memorial to the Victims of the 1915 Genocide.
Free evening in the city.

 Day 2: Yerevan – Metsamor – Echmiadzin (Museum) – Zvartnots – Yerevan Brandy Factory
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Metsamor Fortress-settlement, located in the center of the Ararat plain, 35 km southwest of Yerevan, occupying a volcanic hill and surrounding area. Excavations at Metsamor began in 1965 and continue to this day. Visit to the museum housing over 20,000 artifacts.
Visit to one of the 12 ancient capitals of Armenia – Echmiadzin (Vagharshapat) – and inspection of the Cathedral of Holy Echmiadzin (founded in the 4th century) and the Church of St. Hripsime (7th century). Visit to the Echmiadzin Treasury Museum. Lunch.
Visit to the Temple of the Vigilant Forces, Heavenly Angels – Zvartnots (7th century).
Excursion to the Yerevan Brandy Factory. Introduction to the cognac production technology. Tour of the cellars and “Presidents’ Alley.” brandy tasting.
Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 3: Yerevan – Khor Virap – Noravank – Bird Caves – Areni Village – Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Trip through the Ararat Valley. Excursion to Khor Virap Monastery, which in Armenian means “Deep Pit,” where Gregory the Illuminator, the future first Catholicos of the Armenian Apostolic Church, was imprisoned for many years. The monastery is located opposite Mount Ararat (5,165 m), along the Armenian–Turkish border. From the monastery walls, a panoramic view of the majestic mountain opens.
The route continues through picturesque mountains and gorges towards Noravank Monastery (12th–15th centuries), the spiritual center of the Orbelian principality, home to prominent figures of medieval Armenian culture. Lunch.
Visit to the Bird Caves – Areni-1, where the oldest leather shoes in the world were found during excavations.
Trip to the village of Areni, famous for its vineyards. Visit to a regional tasting center or winery. Tasting of various brands and types of wine.

Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4:  Yerevan – Matenadaran – Sevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Matenadaran Scientific Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, which houses a unique museum-storage of ancient manuscripts and codices.
Trip to the “Blue Pearl of Armenia” – the high-altitude Lake Sevan (1,900 m). Visit to the Sevanavank Monastery (9th century) located on the Sevan Peninsula.
Trip to the Garni Fortress and Geghard Monastery. On the way, a stop at Charents Arch, offering a magnificent view of Mount Ararat. Lunch.
Excursion around Garni Fortress (3rd century BC – 13th century AD) – the summer residence of Armenian kings. Visit to the pagan Temple of the Sun, built by Armenian King Trdat I in the 1st century AD, as well as other fortress monuments.
Visit to the unique rock-cut Geghard Monastery (12th–13th centuries) – the Monastery of the Spear, some chambers of which have exceptional acoustics. The name Geghard is linked to the spear said to have pierced Christ on the cross, once kept here.
Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 5: Yerevan – Market – Vernissage – Airport
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Central Market. Shopping (spices, herbs, dried fruits). Visit to the Sunday Vernissage fair, where you can buy gifts, souvenirs, jewelry, and other handmade items made of wood, semi-precious stones, silver, and other materials. Lunch.
Transfer to Zvartnots Airport. Departure from Yerevan.
