Aragats is a majestic extinct volcano and the highest mountain in Armenia (4,090 m). It is located in the northwest of the country and is visible from afar from almost anywhere in the Ararat Valley. The mountain has four peaks that form a huge crater, where snowfields can be seen even in summer.

At the foot of Aragats are picturesque alpine meadows, ancient caravanserais, Lake Kari at an altitude of 3,200 meters, and an observatory for stargazing. From the summit, there are magnificent views of Mount Ararat, Lake Sevan, and the surrounding valleys.

Aragats is not only a natural wonder but also a symbol of Armenia's strength and spirit. It is a place where legends, heaven, and eternal snow meet.
