Day 1. Yerevan
Arrival in Yerevan. You will be met and transferred to the hotel. After accommodation and a little rest you will have a city tour around Yerevan. The guide will show the main attractions of one of the ancient cities of the world. You will walk along the Northern Avenue, stroll through the architectural complex of Cascade.
In the evening you are enjoying dinner in an national tavern or in one of the famous jazz clubs of Yerevan.
Day 2. Garni — Gegard – “Aya Maria”
In the morning after breakfast we are proceeding for an excursion to Garni and Geghard.
The temple of Garni is the only preserved monument on the territory of Armenia, belonging to the era of paganism. Garni is considered to have been dedicated to the pagan God of Sun. Breathe the fresh air of mountains and enjoy the indescribable beauty of majestic nature!
Geghard monastery was founded in the IV century on the site of a sacred spring in the cave. Therefore, it was originally called ayrivank which means “cave monastery”. According to a legend, the founder of the monastery was St. Gregory The Illuminator. The monastery complex is included in the UNESCO world heritage list. The most part of the monastery complex is completely carved in the rocks. The monastery complex has numerous khachkars carved in the walls.
Then you will have a great time in the tourist area and Spa- resort “Aya Maria”, where you can participate in folk program with dances and songs, and taste Armenia national bread ,lavash, during the master-class.
Day 3. Echmiadzin — Zvartnots — «Мachanents» cultural and art center — «Ararat» brandy factory
Breakfast in the hotel. A trip to Etchmiadzin, a spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. You will have an opportunity to listen to Sunday service at one of the oldest Christian cathedrals in the world. The next sight in Echmiadzin is St.Hripsime church(7th century). In Echmiadzin you will visit “Machanents” cultural center where you can get acquainted with skills of carpet-weaving or pottery. The center offers a variety of master classes: lavash – baking, dolma cooking, theatrical performances, during which guests will get acquainted with Armenian culture. Lunch in the center. On the way back-an excursion to the ruins of Zvartnots cathedral (7th C.). Return to Yerevan. The highlight of the day is brandy tasting at “Ararat”brandy factory. The evening is free.
Day 4.Yenokavan – Apaga Resort
A day full of various activities.
In the morning we will drive to Yenokavan, Apaga resort.
Apaga Resort – Eco – hotel in the mountains of Armenia on the boundary of Dilijan National Park. The hotel is located on a large glade surrounded by forests, with beautiful views over the mountains and the gorge of the river Khachakhpyur. This place is perfect for relaxing, it is a comfortable rest far from city’s hustle and bustle.
The hotel has its own dairy farm, wood-burning stove, where bread is baked daily, a huge dogwood garden (3,500 trees) and a vegetable garden. The restaurant prepares traditional Armenian cuisine of Northern regions of Armenia (Tavush). The main attractions of APAGA Resort are free walking dogs, cats and geese and, of course, stables with 40 horses, and that’s why horse riding is one of beloved activities of visitors.
Yell Extreme Park, an Adventure Park, opened in 2015, is located next to the hotel. Opportunities for active recreation have become almost endless: flying on a Zip Line through the gorge, jeeping, rope Park, giant swing, paintball, archery, climbing and lots of other entertainments.
Day 5. Yerevan – free day
You can go to the central market where you taste different delicious sweets and dried fruit.Feel the taste and colors of Armenia.
Day 6. Khor Virap- Noravank — Areni –Таtev –Yerevan
Khor Virap, a fortress and monastery, is located on a hill with a magnificent view of the biblical mount Ararat. In the ancient days there was a historical city of Artashat, one of the ancient capitals of Armenia. Khor Virap is one of the shrines of the Armenian Apostolic Church, it is considered a place of pilgrimage.
Another attraction of the day is the Monastery of Noravank. Translated from Armenian Noravank means “new monastery”. It was built in the 13th century among the beautiful red rocks. Noravank monastery is known for its two-storeyed Church St. Astvatsatsin. Once high above the gorge, where the monastery is located, you will feel in heaven, as if you touch the sky.
The next destination of our tour is Areni village where you will have wine tasting. If you wish, you can continue the tour to Tatev monastery, where you will get an unforgettable experience, by riding the longest cable car “Wings of Tatev” to the monastery of Tatev monastery.
Return to Yerevan.
Day 7. Tsaghkadzor – Sevan— Dilijan– Hagartsin
After breakfast you will see one of the famous resorts of Armenia Tsaghkadzor. This small town attracts tourists by its dazzling whiteness of mountain slopes, clean air and bright colors.
You will have a guided tour and explore the surroundings of Tsaghkadzor, visit Kecharis monastery (11-13th CC.). It is a monastery complex, which consists of four churches, two chapels, gavit, as well as an ancient cemetery with khachkars of XII—XIII centuries. If you want you can take a ride on the cable car to Mount Teghenis, enjoy the beauty of the nature of Tsaghkadzor.
Continue the tour to Lake Sevan, the blue pearl of Armenia, and climb to the Peninsula, where you visit Sevanavank, one of the oldest churches in Armenia.
Don’t miss to take a photo from the Peninsula, where a beautiful view over the lake opens. Then you will have lunch in a local restaurant and taste the fish from the lake.
The last point of our tour of the day is Dilijan. This region is popularly called Armenian Switzerland. You will see the old Dilijan and the monastery of Haghartsin not far from Dilijan.
Return to Yerevan. Free time.

Day 8. Аmberd – Saghmosavank — «АrmАs» wine estate
Tour day will start with an excursion to Amberd fortress, which was built in the middle ages. It is located 2300 meters above sea level.
You will also visit “ArmAs”, one of the famous wineries, where you will tour around the estate and vineyards, as well as taste the best wines of ArmAs.
Return to Yerevan.
Day 9. Yerevan — аirport
Before transfer to the airport you will take a guided walking tour in the center of Yerevan and visit the Vernissage fair of craftsmen in the open air. Here you will see a variety of Souvenirs and will be able to buy and take with you a piece of warm Armenia.
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
