Day 1: Arrival. Visiting the pagan temple of Garni and the monastery complex Geghard.

Day 2:  A walk round Yerevan. Visit the Museum of History and Matenadaran.

Day 3:  Trip to Ashtarak. Visit  the churches of Karmravor and Ciranavor, Amberd Fortress and tombs of Armenian kings Akhtsk.

Day 4:  Visit  the Archaeological museum of Gyumri, walk around the “ancient city”. Overnight in Gyumri.

Day 5: A trip to the ancient Shamiram settlement. Stop at the church of Aruch, which is located on the top of Mount Aragats.

Day 6: Visit the Erebuni Museum.

Day 7: Drive to Artashat, visiting Khor Virap. Return to Yerevan.

Day 8:  Trip to Etchmiadzin – the residence of the Armenian Catholicos. Return to Yerevan.

Day 9:  Transfer to the airport “Zvartnots“. Departure.
