Day 1: Yerevan
Arrival in Yerevan, at the International Airport “Zvartnots”
Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Rest.
You will have a City tour with visiting main attractions and museums of our capital –Matenadaran – the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, the Museum – Fortress Erebuni, the National Gallery and History Museum of Armenia, Tsitsernakaberd–Genocide Memorial Complex. The last point of our tour will be Yerevan Brandy Factory with brandy tasting.
Day 2: Garni – Geghard (80 km)
After breakfast at the hotel we start our tour with the excursion to Garni and Geghard. Garni is the only pagan temple preserved since ancient times, the former summer residence of Armenian Kings (1st C). We will finish our tour visiting Geghard monastery complex (12-13th C), cut in one monolithic rock. Return to Yerevan. We advise you walk around the Vernissage – open-air handicraft market.

Day 3: Echmiadzin - Sardarapat (140 km)
In the morning we will drive to Echmiadzin – the administrative and spiritual center of Armenian Apostolic Church. In Echnmiadzin you will also visit the church of St. Hripsime (7th C).
The next destination is Sardarapat and the Ethnographic Museum of Armenia. On the way back You will observe the ruins of the cathedral Zvartnots (7th C). Return to Yerevan.
Day 4: Haghartsin - Sevan - Tsakhkadzor (260km)
This day a beautiful trip is waiting for you. You will visit the monastery complex Haghartsin (11-13th C.) and “Armenian Switzerland” – Dilijan. Next thing to be admired is “blue pearl of Armenia” – Lake Sevan, 1900 m above the sea level. You will go up the Sevan peninsula and watch St. Astvatsatsin and Apostoles churches (9th C). Next destination will be Tsaghkadzor and Kecharis monastery (11-12th C).We offer you to climb Mount Tegenis (3100 m) by the cable way and admire the beauty of Tsaghkadzor surroundings. Return to Yerevan.
Day 5: Khor Virap - Noravank (260 km)
The tour program of this day consists of two sites-Khor Virap and Noravank.
Khor Virap is considered the cradle of Armenian Christianity. Here Grigor the Illuminator was captured for 13 years. From the hill opens a stunningly beautiful view over Mount Ararat. We finish the program proceeding to Noravank monastery which is located among beautiful red rocks of Vayots Dzor.
Day 6: Sanahin – Haghpat – Yerevan (400 km)
After breakfast at the hotel you will proceed to Alaverdi town in Lori region and visit the monasteries Sanahin (9-12th C) and Haghpat (11-13th C). Haghpat monastery is included into worldwide cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Watch the two unique examples of Armenian classical architecture and admire the beauty of Lori nature. Return to Yerevan.
Day 7: Ashtarak – Amberd – Saghmosavank (150km)
In Ashtarak we will see the churches Tsiranavor (5th C) and Karmravor (7th C)and Drive to mountain Aragats, the highest point of Armenia (4090 m). You will also visit the fortress Amberd (10-12th C) (2300 m above the sea level) and Saghmosavank monastery complex (13-14th C), famous for its library. The monastery houses excellent acoustics. Return to Yerevan. Farewell dinner.
